EZee Gourmet - Post-Workout Treat - Better than Ice-Cream

Did you get your workout today?

If you are like me, most probably you would like to have Ice-cream as a post-workout meal. But if you are eating with 6 Packs in mind, it's not the best choice for sure. Yes, but I was talking about my own version of post-workout Ice-cream/popsicles. 

I've seen many variations of this recipe, but I like mine simple and straight forward...No more than 5min, hustle free and beyond delicious. 

You need only 3 ingredients. Here are mine:
  • 4-5 scoops Combat Whey Protein (Chocolate Peanut Butter)
  • 4 tbsp. Homemade almond butter (or any nut butter you like, but always buy the ones with only one single ingredient - Nuts)
  • 1 can Organic Coconut milk

My Ingredients


Place all the ingredients in a blender and give them a good spin, until well mixed.

For the next step you will need Popsicle Mold. Now if you don't have Popsicle Mold, you can always use silicon cupcake baking forms. I posted a link with some suggestions at the end of this post. But I obviously prefer the Popsicles. Pour the mixture in to the mold, freeze for couple of hours and VoilĂ .

And when I didn't have more free space I had to use the cupcake baking forms. The only difference when I want these ones, I've to remove from the freezer and let them stay for few minutes before eating.

And that's it.....In and out of the kitchen in 5min maximum. A great treat not only post-workout, but whenever you crave something "bad" like Ice-cream.
