EZee Chic - 10 Must Have Applications for Fashion Week (or Travel)

We know this is the month of Fashion Weeks madness and all the fashionistas are waiting eagerly for a glimpse of the new creations for SS 2014. Of coarse not all will be lucky to go and see the shows, but we can still get the latest and updated information online. So many sites devoted to Fashion Week, After parties, Front Row, Backstage and so on.

But what can you do when you are on the go?

Not to worry, I selected 10 Application for your iPhone that you Must have before the Fashion Week starts. Most of them you can even use whenever traveling on business or even on vacation.

#1. Instagram

It goes without saying that we shouldn't go to a Fashion Show (or anywhere for what matters) without Instagram on our iPhones. This is a simple and instant way to capture and share pictures and videos on your social media. You should have an Instagram account, which you can connect to your other social media accounts, like Facebook and Twitter for ex. You can use many different filters to bring the mood you desire to your image. The trick here is to start Following the Shows and Designers (people)you are interested in, so you can get the latest updates.

#2. Fashion GPS Radar

If you are actually attending Fashion week, you can't even think of going before you download this application. Right now it is an invitation-only application, that allows you to RSPV to all your shows in one place. You can confirm attendance, manage invitations, fast check-in with your event barcode, locate all your events on the map with one click only, Buyers and Editors can request runway looks straights from within the app. All you need in a single application that saves time and nerves during the Fashion Week madness.

As advertised on their mobile site: "Always on the go? Get it to go: The latest runway looks, parties and videos can now fit in your pocket, your clutch and the palm of your hand. automatically updates your devices with the most current coverage. Download and browse every look from NY, London, Milan and Paris; stream runway videos; see the latest party pics; and more. Where and when - well that's your call." It's the most organized and reliable mobile application to follow fashion week and especially for those that are not actually there.

#4. W Front Row

One of my favorite applications featuring the Fashion Week in all four cities. "W front Row" is an extension to again one of my favorite magazines "W". It gives a complete calendar for all the shows in NY, London, Milan and Paris. You can find the best places to see and be seen, searchable by city and category of interest. You can save your favorite locations for easy access.

#5. Chicfeed

There are so many fashion blogs today. How do you find exactly what you are looking for, without missing the latest street fashion trends, front row looks, photographers looking for the perfect poses. Because Fashion Weeks is not all about the shows, but it's also a matter of Street Style. This application gathers photos from all of your favorite blogs and collects them in one place. Currently it features: Sartorialis, Face Hunter, Jack and Jill Blog, Cherry Blossom Girl, LookBook, Altamira...

#6. Shazam

Now that's an application I use every day. Easy and very effective, instantly detects the song playing on the run way (on radio, at the club, etc.). You can be the first to twitter, add to favorites or go to the iTune store and purchase the song you love straight away. I'm using Shazam Red, the special Edition app, that helps fighting AIDS in Africa and makes positive difference in millions of lives.

#7. Stylitics

That's one of the most awesome applications, I absolutely love it. You can snap any outfit you wear or even take the pic from the web and add it to your closet. You can put together complete outfits - dress, accessories, shoes, bags and and keep in the database. Your closet will be sync to the Web version of Stylitics, just log in and browse. You can Mix-and-Match your clothes straight from your phone, no more digging in piles of clothes. Oh and did I note, you can keep a journal of what, where and when you wear, so you will never repeat an outfit. How awesome!

#8. LinkedIn Cardmunch

Don't you wish there was a magic wand that can help you write don't all the business cards you collected and stuck at the bottom of your purse? Now with Cardmunch that's as easy as 1-2-3. Just snap a pic of the business card, upload on Cardmunch and watch how the card will be converted to a Contact.  Genius.

#9. Trandabl

Trandabl is an application trying to create a fashion specific network. Like Facebook and Instagram, you can upload your snap shots and tag the outfit you are wearing by label and price. Once you are logged in you can browse others' outfits and shop right from your feed. Add the favorite items to your list and click on buy, can't get easier. You have the option as well to follow some of the trendiest tastemakers: Michael Kors, DVF, Tory Burch, BCBG, Barneys NY and many more.

#10. Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Foursquare, etc.

On the last but not the least important place, I'll put all the social media tools we use today, for communication, connection, marketing or just for fun. They are pretty well self explanatory and you are familiar with most, I'm sure.

Which one is your favorite?
